Our students come from families that are predominantly subsistence farmers making $1.25 day doing casual day labor.  We ask every student to contribute 20% of their school fees and we scholarship the remaining 80%.  In extreme circumstances, we may increase the scholarship amount.  We are grateful to sponsors who partner with our students to create opportunities for them to fulfill their God-given potential.

Jane

Desired Training: Air Conditioning/Refrigeration

Jane is one of six children raised by a single mom who has done her best working casual jobs to educate her children. Jane also works hard doing casual labor to save money so she can go to college and get a degree. Her dream is to employ herself and others.

Samuel

Desired Training: Driving

Samuel is 24 years old and expecting his first child. He has wanted to join a driving class since he left school three years ago and believes this opportunity is an answer to prayer. He wants training so he can earn a living, help take care of his parents and contribute to his community.

Hannah

Desired Training: Tailoring

Hanna is 50 years old and believes that a training course will change her life. She is a widow with four boys who takes in laundry and does other casual labor like working in people’s homes. She wants to earn an income that will enable her to educate her children. Hannah’s perseverance to care for her family is inspiring.

Amos

Desired Training: Electronics

Amos is an entrepreneur at heart! He is an honest and responsible gentleman who dreams of starting his own business. Currently he works in a supermarket but desperately wants to study. He would like to help transform his community by employing the needy youth.

Esther

Desired Training: Hairdressing

Esther was born to a single mom and became an orphan at a young age. She was raised in a children’s home and then worked as house help. She is currently married with two daughters. Esther is grateful for this opportunity to receive training as a hairdresser

Maureen

Desired Training: Catering

Maureen completed high school three years ago and currently does casual day labor. She is a team player with a high level of commitment. Her passion is cooking and she would love to develop herself by starting her own business and giving back to her community.

Rachel

Desired Training: Light Truck Driving

Rachel is a single mom of three working casual labor when she can find it. She dreams of being able to employ herself, support her children and help take care of her parents. Rachel’s prayer is for God to move her from where she is to the next level and change her life.

Tabitha

Desired Training: Medical Engineering

Tabitha is a hardworking and honest young lady who has a great desire to further her studies. She is active in her church and in her community. Tabitha wants to pursue a 3 year Medical Engineering course that will enable her to repair medical equipment in hospitals and pharmacies.

Eston

Desired Training: Electronics

Eston is a husband, father and a subsistence farmer earning $1/day. He attended classes for one year in Electronics but had to drop out due to lack of school fees. He is a good man, involved in his community and would like to work with youths to train them and stop the negativity in them.
